St Oswald's Glen Iris Walking Group
Ravin’ Ramblers:
Saturday 20th November 2021 12noon
Meet at the Brighton Beach Station (Toilets) Carpark (Melway C3) at 12 noon.
Then we shall cross Beach Road and continue to the end of the carpark to view the famous Beach Boxes.
Lunch will be taken at the nearby shelter or seating near the War Memorial.
From here we take the steps down to the lower walkway and proceed towards Hampton and following the path to the Sandringham Yacht Club where we can walk out on to the Hampton Pier and look at all the sailing craft (toilets).
From there proceed uphill on Jetty Road and turn right into the path which leads down to the cream coloured Rotunda at Sandringham Beach to admire the views.
Thence a short walk to the Sandringham Station (toilets), (Melway 76G9),to catch the train back to Brighton Beach Station followed by a friendly coffee etc. at the adjacent Brighton Beach Hotel.
What to bring : Myki Card, lunch, water, sunscreen, a mask (for the coffee shop and train) and any other requirements.
Total distance: Approximately 5km's.
